Local US CIS Office Review: Santa Ana CA
Review Topic: cis_topic
Event Description
Review Date : October 17, 2007
Embassy Review : I walked in for a few questions regarding my case as an RFE caused a huge delay. Others on VJ were getting approved even though they filed 2-3 weeks after us (our RFE took 53 days to send in due to IRS failing to mail taxes, birth certificate mix ups etc) so I started to get nervous.

We arrived 30 minutes early to the office and had to remove our camera phones. My wife had to go back to the car to put them away. They wouldn't let me stand around so they gave me my #. I sat down and that very moment they called my number. By the time my wife got back, the immigration officer had given me a very detailed report on the case and we were on our way. In time: 7:35am. Out time: 7:45am. Original appointment time: 8:00am
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
