Embassy Review : Translation from Portugues: I was scheduled for 8:40 my interview, I arrived at 06:50 and the consulate opened at 7am, will have two queues one for immigrants and one for non immigrants, make sure you are in the correct queue. Then a woman came out and passed a list with the names of the people who would do the interview and looked at our passport. You can not go with large bags and mobile, there is a service outside the consulate that keeps their things, I paid 10 reais for them to keep my cell phone, the consulate is not responsible for this, many more people did and was safe. Then we enter the consulate and your document folder, purse are registered if need be. So we went to the second floor and will have someone to help you sort out the necessary documents, she handed 2 sheets. One you need to enter the address where you are, email your and your fiance's mobile number, address where you will live in the United States. And the other sheet is the instructions of the necessary documents and the order that should be, and then it checks to see if everything is correct and you wait to make the first interview .. well in that first interview you take the documents she asked to sort and deliver , they will ask you personal questions. For example: where do you currently live? Are you working? Things like that, very simple. And then you wait again and the consul will look at your documentation and call you by name, so this is the last interview. Just tell the truth and be honest, if you and your partner have a legitimate relationship you have nothing to fear. The first question she asked me was: what is your fiancé's name? Then she asked how we met and I told a little of our story, and she wondered if he was ever married .. then told me that all the documentation was correct and said that I was approved. In my case they did not ask me for proof of my relationship, but it is important to bring photos, travel documents and even conversations of yours if you need to have proof. The interview is very quiet and quick. Just be honest and make sure you have all the documentation they request on the site
Rating : Very Good
