Event Description
Review Date : August 16, 2008
Embassy Review : My husband was not give a visa at this time as they believe because of the age difference that he is using me for an immigration benefit instead of for love. We were both interviewed as I was present for his interview because I knew they would have a problem with it. They felt I was credible, but they wanted to do an extensive background check and home visit on my husband as they were not sure about him. I have fought tooth and nail to get this far and just for a fleeting minute, I thought he had his visa as they didn't ask too many questions of him when they interviewed him the first time and they told him they needed to ask me some questions as well which I had no problemw doing. It just ended up that they didn't believe him and put us into Administrative Processing. There is lots more to this story, but I don't wish to post it here. If you are interested and want to know, please IM me and I will provide the details.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
