Embassy Review : Arrived at the embassy at 7.20 for an 8.30 appointment had about seven people in front of me. Waited till 7.30 and then a lady started checking paperwork and directing people to different lines. I was the first one for imigrant visa got through security they take your phones off and give you a number to collect on your way out. Everybody was very friendly and helpful and followed round the embassy perimeter to the main entrance. At the desk was given a number 001 and sat down and waited to be called. Around 8.00 was called to desk and asked for paperwork, only one photo needed apparantly paperwork has not yet been changed.
Had fingerprints taken and was told to go back and wait for either my number or name to be called. At this time needed the ladies but was to worried would miss my name being called so sat with legs crossed patiently waiting. Got called about 8.20 and the young man I saw asked me to sign the DS230 part 2 re took fingerprints and asked me where I met my husband where would I be living which I answered Wisconsin asked If I had been there I told him yes in April and how long had we dated before we got married. He didn't even seem that interested in the answers just that he had asked the questions. He explained to me what would happen when I arrive in the USA regarding the infamous envelope and then congratulated me and that was it over! six months of waiting weeks of stressing and less than five minutes to be approved. Wow 166 days from date of filing I130 to approval we have been so lucky.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
