Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 18, 2019
Embassy Review : Fast and easy. Everyone was very friendly. Very streamlined process. I had my medical exactly 7 days before so I was nervous the results might not be there but they were, phew! The first window the man was friendly, took my papers and then I took a seat. The second window was the questioning. This man was definitely a little more stern and professional. I had the same questions as everyone else - How did you meet and what does your partner do for a living etc.

I will say though that they definitely DO read your file. He picked up on something he thought was a date discrepancy which I easily explained and he understood so I was fine and approved on the spot (yay) but I was impressed that he queried something so small which proved he had already reviewed my file. Again, if you are a legitimate couple and you're just open and honest you will be 100% OK!

I was in and out in a total of 30 mins.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
