Comments : The interview lasted about 45 minutes. We had to wait in the waiting area for about 30 minutes before we were called in. We went over the application and corrected any info that has since changed. Then had to answer a lot of questions about how we met, dates, names, places. Some things about jobs. Asked about our family and how often we talk. Nothing intimidating. After that they let us know that we should be checking status online, overall we got a feeling that it went well. The status changed to “Approved” sale day at midnight

Consulate Review: Ukraine
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : September 11, 2018
Embassy Review : Awesome experience.

It took about 15 minutes of waiting to have my docs taken, then about 15 minuets before I was called to the interview.
The interview was in English even though all the people before me had it in Ukrainian. 2 questions:
- how have you met?
- has he visited you in Ukraine?

That’s it, said everything was in order and that my visa was approved.

The most easy step and I was waaaay to worried about it than I should have.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Los Angeles
Event Description
Entry Date : 2018-09-19
Embassy Review : It was comparatively easy but long. First, a line to the passport check. Took around 20-30 minutes. The officer opened my K-1 envelope, asked what was the name of my fiancé, how we met, if I ever was denied a K-1 visa before. Then he took me to a room full of people with a few windows with officers. I waited for 1,5 hours to get called to the window. They asked my address in the US and name of my fiancé. That’s it

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
