Comments : The interview was simple and down to the point.. he didnt find it difficult because we were prepared for the questions they asked.. overall the officer was not “nice” but wasnt rude or out of line with the questions. I would say this embassy is professional and as long as u are prepared.. financial docs, translated docs, pics, letters, affidavit of support, divorce stuff.. etc. and you know your spouse or fiance like you should then it will go smooth!!!!

Comments : We are in Missouri and the officer who interviewed us interviewed us together and never separated us at any point. She saw pictures I offered and bank statement showing jointly, we also answered some basic questions and he had a series of yes or no questions, all after she had us swear to tell the truth under oath.. she was nice, and seemed to like us! It was about 10 minutes before she said finished and would receive the welcome letter in the mail. Was very easy!!

Hi you guys! Congrats on your approval I'm so happy for you both :) I have a quick question - my fiance is also from Algeria and I'm beginning the paperwork now. Is there any additional paperwork that is not required that they might like to see? For instance, a police report? He has no criminal record but we're wondering what we can do to speed up the process

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
