Comments : Medical Apt - 10/19/18
Medical - You CAN bring the email received from the NVC with your case number at the top - no need to wait for anything in the mail!
Packet 3 - Literally just a piece of paper with a link telling you where to go to get more information on scheduling interview. Nothing you can't find here - not worth the wait!
Embassy Apt - They did ask for USC pay stubs so THANK GOD I thought to put them in because nowhere "official" does it say to bring them.

All in all its been a terribly long process, but having this community here to ask questions and ease worries has been insurmountable.

Hi! Same situation in regards to our difficult circumstances with denied entry and visa denial, or just going through London? Either way I’ll update on the experience!

Difficult experience with denied entry and visal denials. Did u get your noa2?
blank avatar Sam.e on 2018-11-15 said:
Hi Kirankpan, we did get our NOA2 without any RFEs. Yesterday my fiance had his interview at the London Embassy and he was approved! They did ask him about his technical overstay, but when he affirmed that they overstay was due to his employer incorrectly filing for his work visa and not to any fault of his own the immigration officer said that he was approved. Good luck!

Sam.e - I found your timeline because you posted about your fiancé arriving via Dublin. Were they able to do port of entry in Dublin through preclearance? My fiancé is Welsh and we are trying to find reasonable one way flights - Dublin is one of the best options. How long did immigration take your fiancé in Dublin?

Hi Bethany! Immigration through Dublin was SUPER easy for him. He said he was literally through it in like 15 minutes, it was easy and straight forward, and gave some relief for the 10 hour flight ahead. Overall I recommend it! obviously just make sure if there’s not a direct flight to your city that the flight is Dublin to the US for a layover... I’ve seen a lot of options of Dublin to LHR to the US or some other variants, which wouldn’t put your fiancé through the American customs!

Did your fiancé have bags checked through from original departure to the US or have to collect them, recheck, etc? I saw something about them showing a picture of bags on some travel site. Did he have to use the kiosk or was there a space for non citizens to go only through a person? Upon arrival, did your fiancé bypass customs in addition to immigration? Thanks!

Hello, i just had my interview today in phoenix and i am recommended for approval. Im just wondering if you have received your actual green card? Thank you in advance!
blank avatar Sam.e on 2019-11-01 said:
Hey CNC2019! So we had our interview last Wednesday, and our IO said she still had to review our case so we weren't lucky enough to be recommended for approval on the spot. After a week of waiting on Wednesday of this week our case was changed to "Card in production" on the DHS site, and I believe it was mailed today! So fingers crossed we get it tomorrow or Monday!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
