Port of Entry Review
Event Date
Port of Entry : JFK
POE Date : 2007-04-26
Got EAD Stamp : Yes,Passport Stamp
Biometrics Taken : Yes
Harassment Level : 0
Comments : Husband(then fiance) was given the wrong form on the plane. At JFK, he was directed to another line where a lady filled out the I-94 form. She entered an incomplete last name, entered middle name as first name. This became a problem at the Social security office. We had to go to the nearest intl airport to have it corrected, then went back to the SS office. All is well now.

Consulate Review: Nigeria
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : April 5, 2007
Embassy Review : My fiance had his interview yesterday (4/4/07). Every document, evidence was arranged in a 3-ring binder, and according to my fiance, the interviewer was deeply impressed with the organization. The interviewer focused on how we met, especially since we met for the first time when I was 10 and he was 14. He wanted to know if we had pictures, letters from back then. To cut a long story short, my fiance answered every question confidently and we had more than enough evidence to support our relationship. Overall, it was a good experience. The passport with visa will be picked up on 4/11. This whole process took exactly 5 months and 6 days. . I can't wait to see my baby at the end of the month. We will both celebrate our birthdays in May, and most likely have the civil ceremony in Mat too.To God be the glory
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
