Comments : The new London embassy is smart and efficient, I came around half an hour before appointed time and politely told to come back in 15 mins but they stamped my letter so when I came back I didn't have to wait in the queue again. Once passed that you go thorough a security check just like an airport, you go into the inner ring, if you're appointment time is say 10.15 you wont get in any earlier, you will line up with the others who have appointments at 10.15.
You check in at the desk and given a number, make note of that number as they wont call you or your number, it will appear on a screen and you walk up to the booth where that number is displayed. They check your details are correct, take your fingerprints, you go and sit back down until your number is displayed again.
My interview lasted 5 minutes, 2 of those minutes was making sure she had the right file, the conversation went something like this "good morning sir" "how did you meet?" "where did you meet?" "everything seems in order so I'm granting your visa" "goodbye and have a nice day."
Out of the building in 5 minutes and it was all over. I think the rule of thumb here is give them everything in the petition. I never understand why you are instructed to only to give 2 years of info, if you have been together 5 years then give them 5 years, nothing wrong with preparing a good solid petition with lots of evidence.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
