Embassy Review : Ever notice how you only see good reviews get posted? Well, sorry to say.. this one won't be.

My fiance had his interview on May 15th. He was the last one to be called and was only asked a few questions:

1. Tell me about her childhood
2. Do you think it's normal to get married without having met her family?

THAT'S IT. LITERALLY.

He was told that his application will be reviewed and we'll hear back from the CO.
Later on in the day, we received an e-mail stating that our application was being returned to the USCIS for further review.
No rhyme or reason. The CO did not ask for pictures, or any documents pertaining to our relationship. He simply looked at the 129F and the DS-160.
Not sure what information on there confused him to not keep asking questions because we really don't have any red flags. I thought maybe it was
my previous relationship, but I just know it can't be that based on dates I keep replaying in my head. I have read over and over and over again what we wrote on the 129F and
I don't know what could possible be misunderstood. I just think Morocco hardly approves K1's - as to why, not a clue.

We are currently under AP at the NVC and I have a bunch of government officials looking into this. I've tried contacting the consulate and just keep getting e-mails that a full memo was sent in with my application and to discuss with the USCIS, but they don't have my case and the NVC states that they cannot see that information. Fortunately for me, moving to Morocco is an absolute option as I love it there so if so be it, that's what'll happen. I won't waste another year jumping into another visa process. It's time to relax and enjoy life with the person you love.

To those who are going into this process just to come to the USA- shame on you for ruining the process for those in legitimate relationships.
Rating : Very Poor
