Interview went well. Officer was friendly. We were placed under oath. She asked us to see our ID's, asked us how we met, how we started dating and when we met in person,
if we had any kids and want any, verify our names, addresses, our birthdays, my son's information, our jobs, family members names, and asked to see my wedding ring. She basically went over our I-751 application and then asked us for any other new evidence we brought. We gave her a copy of our 2021 taxes and my life insurance policy and that was basically it. We were there a little over an hour. The interview itself was around 10 to 15 minutes.

Consulate Review: Algiers, Algeria
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 22, 2018
Embassy Review : The interview was a pleasant experience. My husband got there about an hour early, went through security, was asked for his civil documents and evidence before going to the next building where he waited about 10 minutes to get fingerprinted. He was waiting about another 20 minutes before being called to the window where the consular officer asked him several questions which were:
Where does your wife live?
What does she do for a living?
Asked about my son. His age, etc.
When did we get married?
What we did together on my visits to Algeria and dates I was there.

At the end he took my husband's passport and came back to the window and told my husband, "Congratulations, your visa has been approved!" They gave my husband instructions how to get his passport back and that was it. About 2 hours at the embassy and a very pleasant experience altogether.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
