Consulate Review: Naples, Italy
Review Topic: Direct Consular Filing
Event Description
Review Date : October 4, 2017
Embassy Review : It’s a 2 days process:
-the first day there’s the medical at Istituto Varelli. They will take urine and blood sample; Chest X rays; they will check your shots record, your general health and you have to pay 220€. Don’t forget the passport and the pictures.
-day 2 is the interview. Make sure you have all the documents: passport; DS260 confirmation page; marriage certificate (if applicable); B C; divorce decree (if applicable); affidavit of support; W2; appointment letter, and police certificate (issued within 12 months) and the pictures.
Documents can be either in Italian or English.
Be there early.
People are extremely nice.
My interview was 2 minutes long and 2 questions were asked: when I met my husband and when we got married.
The petitioner can enter with you.
You will have to pay the fee before you talk to the CO.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
