Comments : After NOA2 approval , letter was received by regular mail on 9/11/17, The approval happened on 9/5/17 and we never got any e-mail, case was never updated on their website; USCIS status still shows pending from 08/21/17. NVC wouldn't receive any notice neither for over 3 weeks. When calling to USCIS customer service they would tell me my case was still pending. After insisting I have the approval in hand, they will let me talk to Tier 2 CS. They will tell me my application was finally sent to NVC on 9/26/17, however I received a disturbing e-mail later on asking me for filing a new form to get my application forwarded too the NVC. All that was actually false alarm, NVC got my application on 10/6/17 and immediately approved and forward to Consulate for expedite processing, all in the same day we got NVC case number , notice from VNC and notice from consulate. I figured, somebody drop the ball causing unnecessary delays in our approved case for about 3 weeks, then realized their error and then forward our case to NVC for expedite process.

Embassy Review : Officer was very polite and welcoming.
Started by checking that all documents were previously sent. Asked if we have anything else to add hoping we have some extra pictures.
Then she went verbally through few of those questions included on the application form, like those related to ever been involved with terrorism, communism, etc.
We were given the chance to modify how the name would look on the green card, etc.
Overall, very nice, polite and stress free.
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
