Comments : The Interview process was very easy and organized. Our interview was at 7:20am and we were the first ones there. We went in and received the paper with the instructions on how to organize the papers. Then we were called to one of the windows to hand in / review all the documents. After we waited about 30 minutes and then we were called for the interview. The CO was a very nice lady. She asked us a lot of questions about our specific case, we have a very different case since we were living in the US and had to obtain an I601A waiver. She did not ask us about our marriage, but that is probably because we have been married and living together for over 9 years with 3 kids. After a lot of questions she said the most amazing words, "your visa has been approved" but it was pending the name search because they had not received it that day yet. We all cried hysterical including my 9 year old son who cried so loud he had the whole place in tears.

By that afternoon the status on CEAC had changed from "Ready" to "Administrative Processing". Around 1:30pm on 4/7/17 the status changed to "Issued". We got in a taxi and went straight to Sedex and waited there. (Yes we are crazy) By 4:00pm we had his visa in our hands!!!!

We are so thankful to God and all those involved at the NVC, Consulate and USCIS for keeping our family together.
