Comments : My case was expedited from NVC.
My case was approved at the interview but is still awaiting the medical package in order to issue the visa. I did the medical on the 14th of December. After they have received this they said they will post to me my passport with visa plus additional documents. Visa received 28th of December and I was not required to have a yellow medical envelope due to my results all being ok. Entry requirement was just visa
In hand. Warning! at the border when you arrive with your visa in hand expect to be taken into a back room for a final interview with border security. I was shocked as no one told me this would occur so I thought there was something wrong with the visa. The officers were so rude it definitely wasn't a warm welcome. My husband and I lined up in "citizens and permanent residents" and I was ushered away to a waiting room with others unaware of what was going on. this was at San Francisco. If I was prepared for this I wouldn't have been so upset. So just a heads up! It took 30mins waiting to be interviewed. My husband had to go collect the baggage.
