Embassy Review : Had my K1 visa interview yesterday at the London embassy.

I was more nervous about the document part of the interview simply down to me having a co-sponsor and what to bring, but i was faced with a very nice/happy young lady who in all honestly didn't ask for nearly as much as the i-134 supporting evidence as i thought. My co-sponsor's tax return and copy of US passport (he was born in Columbia), along with form i-134 was enough evidence for her.

The next part when i had my actual 'interview' was the easiest part. I almost felt like i had been approved within the first 10 seconds. i was stood at the window talking to the American man for about 90 seconds. What an anti-climax!

PLEASE NOTE:

The people at the embassy said the "systems were down" and the interview part after the document hand-in was going to be another 2 hour wait. they told us we could leave, get some lunch, and come back. I decided to stay and wait. Although one lady who was before me actually left. 10 minutes later her number got called! i felt so bad for her. My number was called shortly after that. i was in and out of the emassy within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Moral of the story? DO NOT LEAVE THE EMBASSY. SIT AND WAIT. I couldn't imagine anything worse than this happening to me, and if the blonde lady who this happened to, happens to see this post, please message me i would love to find out what happened. I made it aware to the people who said we could leave that you had left, and your number had been called.

But anyway,

very straight forward, easy process.
