Hey I was just curious about why it took 4 years for your stuff to be processed.

Not sure which one you’re referring to.
My timeline shows 5 different petitions and 1 visa throughout the 4yrs.
I-129F petition and K-1visa before I arrived in US
AoS was filed after I got here and we got married. EAD and AP filed the same time.
And recently I just filed petition to lift conditions on my conditional GC (it was only good for 2yrs).

I think it only took 5 months from we filed the petition to get K-1 visa until we actually got the visa :)
and then after we got here and got married in 2017, I filed Adjustment of Status to get my GC (together with EAD and AP, no additional fee when filed together I think). EAD and AP got approved faster than GC but it could come in handy just in case I had to get a job or travel outside US while waiting for my GC.
Got my GC June 2018, but it's a conditional GC that's only good for 2 years. Within 90 days before it expires, you have to apply again to lift the conditions and get a 10-year GC, which I just filed in May this year :) still waiting to hear from them. But if I get approved, I think that should be it for now, unless I want to apply to become citizen.
So basically it's just different applications and petitions throughout the 4yrs.

Oh I'm sorry, I'm new and I read everything wrong. But I am curious how much the total cost was on both sides from the date you filed until the date you got your K-1 visa.
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
