Somehow my fiance only got 9 days notice from when we got his interview date to the interview, so try to gather as much stuff as possible before you even receive the email for it. We did a name check online at the AFP website right after we found out his interview date and had to express send affidavit information. The soonest he could get a medical check appointment was a week after the interview.
Magically, the AFP name check and the affidavit of support info came in the mail the day before his interview, I don't know how... You should do the Police check and affidavit stuff before you get your interview date, the medical check though they seem to want to know when your interview is so you may need to have your date before you get that appointment. But honestly, I don't think it would hurt to email the official doctors and ask if you can set up the appointment before you have your interview date, it may be possible.
He was only there for an hour and the interview went much like how everyone else described, the workers were friendly and said he would get his visa around 2 weeks after they received his medical check information. |

Timeline Comments: None yet, be the first!
*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
