Comments : I arrived at Fort Lauderdale International Airport at 11:10am.
As I was going towards the customs officers I was directed with my DHL envelope to another section. I was told to join line 3 for immigration purposes. The customs officer called me to booth number 7. We greeted each other and he asked how I was. I told him I was tired but nervous. He laughed and said there's nothing be nervous for because "you are now a permanent resident" he now asked if I had a package for him. I gave him the DHL envelop and he took out the package and handed me the DHL envelope. He asked me to accompany him to another room which I did still feeling nervous. He told me to have a seat. The were other persons in the room from other countries. I at for around 5 minutes until they called my name and handed me my passport and told me have a nice day. Now I'm home but cold LOL

Embassy Review : I arrived at the embassy at 6:40am for my 7am appointment. We had a bit of a snag because when we went in and we're checked off I was sent back out because I had my asthma inhaler in my bag which is prohibited (I never knew).
I was called to window 5 at 7:50am to submit my passport picture, passport, birth certificate and copy of my marriage certificate. She gave me a pamphlet to read about spousal abuse while we waited. We watched other people go to the windows repeatedly until we were called by name to window number 7. My heart was at my mouth lol. My husband held my hand while rubbing my back the entire time, we even chuckled about how he knew i was nervous while standing at the window. The gentleman that interview us was very polite.

Questions
1. Who filed for you?
2. He asked my husband who he was.
3. How did we meet?
4. Have I ever travelled to America?
5. What happened to my visitor visa?
6. Have you ever travelled to another country an if I was a citizen there
7. When I got married?
8. Does my husband have kids with me?
9. Are my kids coming after I leave?
10. When did we get married?
11. Do we have wedding pictures with us? ( I gave him the pictures an he returned them once looking at them.

He then wrote on my docket whilst telling us that within a week we can pick up my passport at DHL an then said while smiling your visa is approved 😍
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
