Comments : Our interview was at 8:05.  We got there at 7 and there was a line of about 60 in front.  There were people checking for the appointment letter and passport. Once getting through the door, we waited in another line, the signs "Immigrant and Non-Immigrant" did not matter. The lines were just a way to keep everyone in order. Once through that line, we were through a metal detector and left our phones there.  Once we got through that line, we went to another line, but one of the greeters told us we had to go to the left to get our appointment letter scanned, so we did, then went back to the line to wait. This time she told me, I did not have to wait and can have a seat, so I did. Once through the line, my fiancée got her fingerprint scanned and got a number.  That was about 8:03.  We waited about 20 minutes and got called up to the booth to have our documents inspected. Then was told to have a seat. We waited over an hour to see our number get called again. This time was the interview. I walked up with her. The interviewer greets us, then tells me to have a seat, so he can interview her. He asked her how we met, when we met, where I lived, how we communicated with each other, how my mom and I communicated, how my brother and I communicated, he also looked through all our photos, and then congratulated her. We left our address and that was it.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
