Consulate Review: London, United Kingdom
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 20, 2016
Embassy Review : Arrived at the interview one hour before the interview.

I was skipped forward to the front of the extremely long queue outside the embassy as the queue was for people wanting tourist visa's. Entered into the embassy and received my ticket number and waited on the screen for my number to appear.
Once my number appeared I went to the first window and handed over the requested documents and answered a few questions: Have I ever been married before, was I adopted, had I ever served in the military etc etc.

Sat down again and about 15 minutes later I was called to another window for the actual interview. I was interviewed by a very nice man who went through my documents, asked how we met and what we both did for a living etc. After about 30 seconds of clicking on his computer he let me know that my visa was accepted/being issued!

Overall a really good experience. Everyone I met with was very friendly and understood that I was probably nervous.
Rating : Very Good

POE Review: Denver
Event Description
Entry Date : 2016-05/11
Embassy Review : Third time entering Denver International Airport.

I'm a UK citizen so immigration isn't really ever too difficult. CBP officers seem very nice - I've only ever had one bad experience and the guy was just a bit rude and blunt but he certainly didn't give me any hassle... Was clearly just having a bad day!
Harassment Level : Low

Thanks for being through on your timeline! It’s really just taken you 4 years from I-129F to Green Card. That’s incredible! Congratulations.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
