My husbands first interview went well we thought. He and the officer were even laughing. FFO was his officer. He was asked to come back a month later with more proof. We had what we thought was good proof. A photo album, 5 months of phone calls highlighted, some skype conversations, 4 months of whatsapp conversations, some western union slips but it wasn't enough. FFO actually kept him waiting 4 hours then proceed to tell my husband that our marriage was a "sham". Never asked him any additional questions and said I would have 1 year to prove that our marriage was legit. In the NOIR, FFO lied and said he asked questions in the 2nd interview along with saying he asked my husband questions in the first that he did not ask, he even went as far as accusing us of being involved in criminal activity! How can they get away with saying such things? We are awaiting a response from our answer to their NOIR. |

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the
USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
