Comments : Our timeline is intentionly slowed up..because I have to wait for my 2006 W2's so I can send my 1040 to Veronica for the interview..So we will be sitting on the packet 3 for two weeks..
UPDATE: Got the tax forms 1 & 2 the 18th and 20th.. DHL'd the complete packet(I134..etc.,) monday Jan 22nd..3.5lbs $144 Landed for her pickup Jan 25th, Packet 3 will be sent Jan 26th..
The new Visa Law to enter Romania is a mess..trust me you do need a Letter from the US Consulate in Romania to get the 30 day transit visa.. no way around it.. and people are setting appointments for no reason other then to sell their space/appointment date..So it getting filled up..and it's like a month out now to get your transit visa appointment.. but plead your case using the NOA2 timeline..when it expires.. that is what worked for us.. ..Good Luck and message me if you need help...

Consulate Review: Bucharest, Romania
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 4, 2007
Embassy Review : Took about 3 hours.. Asked several questions..
Where did you meet your Fiancee at..
What attracted you to him
Has he giving you any gifts
And another I can't remember at this time..
But the Interview is the easyist part of this complete process..

You need to check on the transit visa to go to your interview(if your from Moldova).. It could take up to a month to get it and at this time you do need a invite letter from the US Consulate in Romania

Got the Visa the same day..
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
