Consulate Review: Ghana
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 27, 2018
Embassy Review : Thank God, Finally Approved!!!! My husband went in for his interview at 930 and first gave his supporting documents to the first official and she commented that our paperwork was alot and that she only needed medical report, police report, NVC letter and one other form. My husband brought two photo albums which she wanted to label but he already had them labeled. She then told him to wait and he said he saw them looking through our traditional wedding album and our other album He was interviewed by an African American man who asked 1) How did he meet his wife?2) What job does he do? 3) What job do I do? 4) Has he met my parents? 4) What job will he in the America? Then he told him his visa was approved and gave him paper for DHL pickup. I know this was God's favor cuz we didn't do anything different and after the K1 denial in 2016 I was worried. God is good.
Rating : Very Good

We divorced less than 13 months after he arrived I unfortunately realized too late that it was a sham.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
