POE Review: Miami
Event Description
Entry Date : 2016-08-10
Embassy Review : The process is extremely long, took about 3.5 hours to process him and others that came with visa. They asked him 3 or 4 questions in regards to his reason for entering the US and the wedding date. My fiance experienced a little bit of harassment, was told not to think too hard because it usually means your lying and if he lied they would make his life hell - something along those lines he was told by an officer. He said in terms of arriving there was no issue, just got to the line and then took him to a little room with 3 or 4 others. They call your name after reviewing your papers and that was it.

He had 0 issues leaving Cuba - he went through security normally.
Harassment Level : Low

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
