Consulate Review: Morocco
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 8, 2016
Embassy Review : I would like to thank God for my making our fiancé journey process easier and keeping us patient throughout the process. My fiancé went to her interview on Feb 19, 2016 at 7:30am but her appointment was 8am. She went through process of going thru the gates and meeting the officers and finally went to a window to give her DS-160, two passport style pictures and interview letter. Finally she was let inside to pay her visa fee of $265 exchanged to Dirham. She was then given two receipts one for her copy and the other to give to the officer at next window. The consulate was busy with a lot of people that day. She then went to another window and handed her documents with translations that included the affidavit of support and our messages and e-mails, etc. Finally she went to the last window for her interview and was asked which language to do the interview in she said Arabic. She was asked my name, birthday, how did we meet, and how much time we spent together. They asked her when will be our marriage and when will she travel to US. At the end the CO told her that her case was approved but will need to come back in a week to drop off some missing info which was her singlehood letter. She was also told that your will need to register to pickup your visa in two-three weeks at Aramex. Some points to give out to those expecting to go through the same process in the future. Just be yourself and honest throughout the whole process. Also don't rely on bad reviews posted by others because everyone's case is different. One last important info is have all your documents ready and be prepared to provide any document they ask for. As my fiancé situation they kept all our documents. Finally advise dress comfortably and plan accordingly.

I wish best of success to all future fiancé visa Journeys!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
