Embassy Review : My fiancé was approved last month at the Ghana Embassy. We got to the embassy around 7am where he was told to form a line with his appointment letter. I was not allowed inside so I waited outside by the rocks but he took my US passport with him. He said the interview room was extremely crowded. After about 15 minutes they took his biometrics and evidence. He was called 10 minutes after to have his interview. Some of the questions they asked were

Who petitioned for you?
How did we meet?
How many times has your fiancé visited?
When was the last time you saw your fiancé?
How did you propose?
What are your wedding plans?

Then the CO wished us a happy marriage and said he was approved! Contrary to what people have said about the attitude of the COs at the embassy, the CO was very friendly and professional. Overall our K-1 experience was very smooth. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me. Thank you. Wish everyone the best.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
