Event Description

Embassy Review : I arrived an hour early and the nice security lady told me to come back at 12.20. I waited behind the embassy complex and had interesting conversation with some embassy workers. I made line to the entrance at 12.10 and met some of the visa applicants too. The line wasn't long only about 15 and some are family group. We were given small tray to put our electronic devices and the security checked the email of the interview date and our passport. Then we allowed to get inside where they did security check and we were given the card to take our electronic devices back. We arrived in the consular section, just follow the directions and you will be fine .

We had to wait for a couple of minutes until the windows were opened. There were 6 windows. Window 1 is actually where the interview take place.
We waited until the window 5 open and then the lady started to call us based on our list. Make sure you have everything ready and bring all that listed on the packet 3 from the embassy. The lady at window 5 was nice, she wasn't as intimidating as i thought would be. My name was the 1st to call to the window 1. I got interviewed by a very nice lady :D .It was a closed standing booth where me and the interviewer separated by a glass and she spoke through microphone. Here are the list of the questions ;
1. How you and your fiance met ?
2. How long have you been in relationship with him ?
3. When you meet in person ? How many time he visit you ?
4. Have you meet his family ?
5. Have he meet your family ?
6. How is your family reaction about you and the relationship with your fiance ?
7. Where does he live ?
8. What is his job ?
9. Where he was born ?
10. Have you been to states before ?
11. Are you working for the military ?
12. When do you plan to go to US ?
There were some more questions but i forgot some of them already. Lastly, she asked me to show me the evidence of relationship, which she checked very carefully and asked me about some pictures ( mostly the location and the picture with family members ). She then returned it and compliment me for some drawings that enclosed in the evidence . She gave me white paper and congratulated me for my visa and made sure i had / would read the orange papers that were given by the lady in window 5.
I then thanked her and left the room with very big smile and called my fiance as soon as i took my phone back

Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
