Comments : Side Note.. The K1 process, for us was fast, however due to my moving to a new city and my fiances work circumstances we chose to prolong our K1 visa, interview and entry to US. His entry to US from Miami, was not difficult, everyone was professional and nice, but he had to wait 2 hours for the interview and that only took 2 min lol..

Consulate Review: Peru
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : July 4, 2016
Embassy Review : Arrived at the Embassy at 9:30am, appt. 10:15am.. only paper work and evidence allowed, however there is a place you can leave your items in front of the Embassy. My fiance was called first to the window and was asked to present his paper work and evidence of relationship, but she did not bother to see our photo album. about 30 min later was called in to a small room, was asked 3 questions. My fiance was asked, how we met and the gentleman asked me what were my fiances parents name and my work title.. He typed on the computer for a few seconds and said everything is in order, you should receive the visa 7 to 10 days to pick up at DHL. Very easy, they were very nice and not a lot of people.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
