Embassy Review : Hi everyone,

I am sharing my experience for my interview.

I arrived at the consulate early in the morning, at 6:45 am and my interview was at 7:40 am. There was only one girl outside the consulate, she is active in this blog as well. She was super nice with me and we started talking. She gave me all the information regarding the procedures because she read this blog and she knew what to expect.

We were in line on the left side of the entrance, because there is where the cards will put the line when they open at 7:30. When the guards came out they put the line and a lady showed up with a list of name. Since I was second in line, I entered and after the security, I received a number (#2).

Once we were let on the 19th floor, we were called by the number we received, so my interview was just 15 min after I sat down.

Don't stress out about the question, they are super nice and they are quick, so as long as you answer correctly to what they ask you you will be fine

The only thing I would strongly advice is to leave home any kind of bags, purse or backpack. Bring only documents in a folder, they will not let you in the security if you carry any kind of bag (plastic bags for the documents are fine).

I hope this might be helpful, and good luck with your interview!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
