Comments : Ok now for an Update! Today is 9/30....Noa1 was sent to Lewisville, TX lockbox on March 28, 2015. We did not get NOA1 till May 28, 2015 this is way too long. I have no explanation for this delay unless the lawyer didnt send when stated. Note: if your NOA1 takes over 14 days demand a tracking number. If you did it yourself track the package and consult the VJ forums. The next mile stone was the NOA2 which followed the average time line posted here. NOA2 approved 7/7/15. Once again the package was lost and the NVC didnt receive till 8/25/15. The average here is about 15 days unless you have big holidays in the mix. At 20 days send the email for record location. Also a number exist for contacting the USCIS. Once again search these forums these people can help. Once the NVC had records everything move pretty quick. We had a 4 year old also on papers remember they need a TB test and thathas to be read after 48 hours but before 72. If you get a WED. appointment you need to travel the week before to medical. Testing on a Friday and reading Monday is a risk of busting the 72 hour rule.

Interview: She was ask 4 questions 1. Have you ever been to the USA. 2. Where did/do you work. 3. They ask if the 4 year old that was standing with her was the one on the papers. 4. Have you ever worked Bar/ETC. I have not seen this question posted on here before. It was an older man doing the interview and she said he also ask another lady the same questions. He kept passport and medical papers Told her she would get visa in the mail in 3-5 days.

Awaiting the visa: It did arrive in 4 days. In searching the paper work we discovered the Police report was missing. Siam legal went to work on this but it took several days. Once again beware of short travel plans.

Married in DEC dragging my feet on USA paperwork as i am doing this myself. I have triple check the documents. printed them many time and now they have been sent on March 2 2016.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
