Event Description

Embassy Review : Our interview was scheduled for yesterday January 27th at 12.35pm. We arrived around 12pm and there was a line up by the security checkpoint which took us about 10 mins to clear up. We were sitting at the waiting room by 12.15pm and there was a lot of people in the waiting room. We waited for about 2 hrs before a lady officer called us into her office. She asked us for IDs and passports. She then went through the questions on I-485 and went through I-131 as well. She also asked us how we met and how we ended up here. At the end of the interview she told us we would get a notice in the mail and I would be getting a 10 yr green card as we've been married for two years now. I received a text this morning that my card was approved. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
