Embassy Review : First sorry for late update:
let me start from medical which i did last year October, and met with the additional 2 months wait because i had to do the sputum test reason being my x-ray had a spot which at the end turned out to be nothing thanks God.Anyway i had to go to IOM everyday for 3 consecutive days 7 AM in the morning to give out the sample and must i note its a hard job to try cough while your chest is clear....then wait for 2 whole month which meant rescheduling my interview to January...To cut the story short my sputum result came out and sent out by 28th of DEC 2016 and rescheduled my interview to 24th Jan 2017 at 6:45 Am....I arrived at around 6AM there were not so many people but two limes were already formed for men and one for women..We went through the 1st screening which was by the normal security guys then to the second security check which was more like the airport security where by you put your belongings on trays....one tray you put hand bag and another other stuff like belts, keys and anything else like phones, the disk from IOM,and any other electronics.after there you go inside at the embassy reception where you get a number according to your visa category then go back outside where there is a tent and seat down to wait.....there is a screen where they display the numbers as they are being called in to different counters so you have to listen to your number via inter con if you are far from the screen.By 8AM they started calling numbers soon after mine was called on counter 7 where i met with a nice Kenyan lady she asked for my passport, birth certificate, police clearance, marriage certificate and a small form we were given at the reception to fill out our details then asked few questions like, who was calling me to the USA,in which state and how did he go there and by the way she was reading from a form and ticking on it then she said thank you and told me to get back outside and wait for my number to be called again..After like 20 min the receptionist came outside and and called 3 numbers and told us to go to counter no.9....There i found a white American lady she seemed to be in a really good mood she introduced herself and told me she is going to be taking my finger prints and also ask few normal question for which i smiled because of the way she said it....She told me to go back outside and wait for my number to be called again and off i left......At approximately 9:45am my number was called again and this time to counter number 10....Here it was the real interview.....I composed myself and went to counter number 10 .... there was a pretty nice American lady she asked me to raise my right hand and swear to tell the truth and nothing but the truth which i did and then she took some more finger prints....The questions where pretty straight forward she was looking directly into my eyes as well as typing...She asked almost the same questions the 1st lady asked and then asked me for evidence i told her i have a lot from pictures to chats she said pictures will do i gave her my scrap book and she perused few pages then she went back to typing after what looked like forever she looked at me and gave back my scrap book and my original documents then next to her there was a trolley and she pulled a green paper and two other papers and told me CONGRATULATIONS your visa has been approved welcome to America..She smiled and gave me the green paper and told me to register to DHL and i would receive my visa within a week...she also gave me another paper on how to pay for green card and a booklet on domestic violence and said congratulations once more you may go share the news with your spouse and off i went never looking back just in case she might think otherwise...by 10 i was done and i received the email later that day that my visa would be ready for pick up at village market by the end of the day the following day....By midday the following day i received another email that my package was ready for pick up...I left work at 3 pm and went and picked up my package...the famous brown envelop and my passport...I thank God for this far...Planning on giving notice next month and traveling early march....all the best to everyone traveling this visa journey may the almighty give you patience because you going to need it.....Shalom every one....will update on my POE when that time comes....All the best everyone!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
