Event Description
Review Date : July 2, 2015
Embassy Review : I was scheduled for interview last June 5, 2015 appointment time 8:45am reached embassy around 8:15am there's already long queue they're sitting outside the benches then the guard will ask 5 person to stand and wait some more before entering the door one at a time, you will surrender your cellphone and they will give you a number for collection after you get out from the embassy. Inside you need to get queue number and choose either Immigrant or Non immigrant, wait til your number flash on the screen.I was the first one queue for Immigrant visa waited til the window open for interview, the first interviewer was an asian guy he was calm and ask for my documents : Original Birth certificate, police cleance, affidavit of support, passport,if any certified divorce decree, then he ask if my fiance gave me any bank accounts I told him no, then ask if I have my own bank account luckily I brought one with me.

Questions that I can remember:
What pass I'm holding? Then I showed it to him he took it and photopy.
What is my status?
Fiance's status?
How do we meet?
What is my fiance's work?
Do I know how much he earns?
How did my fiance get to US?
Did I bring any proof of relationship? I wanted to show it to him but he said later to present to American CO. Because I'm lacking of one document he gave me white slip where can I send it, and also Domestic Violence pamphlet. He asked me whether I already have account from USTRAVELDOCS if not you can do now. Then told me to take a sit wait for the American CO to call me I probably waited about 30mins and I guess the American CO reviewing and checking all the documents, when he called me he didn't ask questions he gave me the white slip saying I'm still missing one document, handed me back my original birthcertificate and passport, I ask about my case he said he can't tell yet because of the lacking documents but he said so far I've seen all documents all ok but I can't really celebrate because I don't have specific answer yet 😞
That's it! I already ask my fiance to send me ASAP so I can send it and would know what is the final verdict. I'm just wondering the American CO didn't really ask me questions about my relationship etc.. He's the one who ask me whether I have any questions for him Lol!

Anyway after submitting the missing document 19 June, keep on updating my case online til it was ISSUED by 1 July and passport delivered 2 July quite fast. Thanks Vj and good luck to all.😊

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
