Comments : DCF (I-130 in Beijing, China - Interview in Bangkok, Thailand)

USCIS made a mistake and sent our case to Guangzhou even though we specified Bangkok, Thailand. USCIS Beijing was extremely professional, helpful, and prompt at correcting our case.

The woman at the embassy requested the original tabien baan which we had, but she also requested domicile proof, 1040 for this year, and passport of my father as household member. However the domicile proof was already in the packet, and the 1040 form was already there as well. They do a very poor job of completely reviewing the documents. Make sure your spouse fully gives them every piece of paper as needed. Otherwise 221(g).

Event Description
Review Date : June 24, 2015
Embassy Review : So my wife and I arrived at 4:00 am on her interview date of June 22, 2015. He actual interview time was 7:00 am.

Once she was called inside, I proceeded to wait. It only took two hours, and she was out with a 221(g) form. Requesting additional documentation.

Asked her how the interview went, and was told:

The Thai lady was very nice, but the American woman was very short, rude, and quick with everything, ultimately handing her a 221(g) form.

During the process inside, finger prints were scanned, and documents were sorted out before the actual interview.

During the interview the following questions were asked:

> Whats your husbands name?
> Why did your husband work in China?
> When was the first time you visited China to see him?
> How long was your stay there?
> What did you do in China?
> Did you know your husband has a criminal record for fighting?
--- Wife said yes.

221(g) issued, requesting additional documentation.

Not sure if this means she was definitely approved or not? But we are hoping for good news.
Rating : Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
