Comments : We waited from 4/2019 until 9/9/2021 and started to panic. We filed N-400 citizenship on 9/9. 9/30 We were scheduled for the N-400 interview on 11/6/2021, approved !!! No new biometrics they used the I-751 ones.

My wife said every piece of paper we ever filed was on the interviewers desk. Oath ceremony was scheduled for January 14, 2022. 11/19 the date was canceled, later scheduled for 1/14/, citizen!!!

The funny part is a few days after the citizenship interview we received the green cards!!

Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : May 14, 2017
Embassy Review : We filed Direct Consular Filing in Manila (I've lived in Phil for the past two years) and the entire process was just under 2 months!! We arrived before 6am for a 6:40am appointment slot. We were completely done and out of there before 8:30AM.

The process was very efficient and we quickly learned that if you are not entirely sure what you are doing, ASK!! They are more than willing to help and if you are doing something wrong you can waste a great deal of time. The first interview was a little tough because they questioned why my wife waited so long to register her daughter birth. In fact, both interviewers questioned her about this. Another item really scared us was that we were missing a form.... The first man told us we would have to complete it and send it to them later......ugh. The interview did have it's funny moments because my wife got really nervous and messed up all of our dates, like when we met, when we got married, you know, little stuff like that. I didn't really want to speak but I had to jump in and save the situation. The guy said, wait a minute who is right here????? Hahahaha

The man doing the fingerprinting was very funny and sociable and gave our daughter candy! Then it was on the the interview. It was a young American guy. He asked about the birth registration and a couple of dates and how we met, FilipinoCupid. That was about it and he said you are approved!!! He gave us a couple handouts and we left!!!!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
