Local US CIS Office Review: Atlanta GA

Event Description
Review Date : August 4, 2006
Embassy Review : We arrived 10 minutes early and just sat down among all the other people when I was called. We were taken into a small cubicle when we were asked a few questions some more than once. Unfortunatly we didn't have the correct immunisation form so we were given an RFE and an envelope to send the form back in. We went straight to a civil surgeon on the list that the interviewer had given us and paid the $75 to have the immunisation sheet transferred then went and posted it off so hopefully soon I will get something in the mail like a Green Card. All in all we were in the interview for around 15 minutes and he didnt want to see any of our evidence that we had collected and taken with us. Just wanted to know how we met and how long we had been married along with information about my husbands prior marriage. He also asked 3 times or more if we had an attorney not sure why.
Harassment Level : Moderate

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
