Event Description

Embassy Review : I just went to my interview at Vancouver today at 10 am . I came out of the building at 2:20 pm . It was almost four hour wait , in a room where there is no tv nor magazine but your own documents to look at . You're not allowed to bring cell phones or food or water with you and you need to leave your big bag outside of the building at the security check entrance . Try not to drink water cuz once the let you go up the elevator to the waiting room , there is no washroom for you to use . You'll need to leave the building and go through the check and line up again . Thus , eat something but no drink before you go . I almost fainted when close to 3 hrs waiting . the interview part was easy only took about ten minutes less than ten questions . I keep my answer very simple . I heard the guy before blah blah blah about he and his fiancée reunited after 15 years . Then the officer asked him whether they both had previous marriage and how they settle divorce and where the kid and custody .....my advice - keep answer simple and precise ! and be prepared for the extra documents . The girl before me got send back for more documents after waited for 4 hrs ...feel sorry for her . Anyway it's a long day for me ! Good luck to all
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
