Embassy Review : I 've been in this process since early 2015, this is my second time I file for cr1, I married in dubai and the church was not legally registered under dubai law and which was unknowingly to me at the time of the marriage, the pastor went to my country Nigeria and register the married there with a marriage certificate from Nigeria, I file for cr1 and after the interview the CO deny the visa on the basis of not having a marriage certificate from dubai where the marriage took place,I flew to Nigeria with my wife and got married again for the second time and jan 2017 we file and I went for the interview on 18th of April, this is my experience ,I arrive at the embassy 5.30am and I was the first person to arrived there, I was called to counter 7 to submit all original document, married certificate and police clearance birth certificate medical ,passport photographs and financial support and was told right there that my spousal finance not enough.i took finger print, and was called for the main interview these are the questions that the CO asked

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
