Consulate Review: Dominican Republic
Review Topic: IR-5 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : August 8, 2015
Embassy Review : This will be a short review because of the type of visa.
1- Location: I think is great location out of the heavy traffic on the city.
2-Organization:My appointment was a 8:30am it took me 10 minutes to get inside with a number and be seated.
3- Got number 207 and first call was 30 minutes later.
4- For the interview it took a little longer to be call (about 3 hours) but the interview itself was 5 minutes and 4 questions.

Overall was a nice experience all employees and the consul very polite.
Rating : Very Good

I used this profile for my sister and husband process, they have the interview set up for today at 9 am, they got at the embassy at 8;35 am go through security with no issues, received a number and deposit all the documents around 9:45 am, they need to correct some info on the DS-260 and did it with no issues, had the interview around 11:15 am , some questions about family, work , kids and approved , all personal really nice and attend to help you.

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
