Consulate Review: Israel
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : October 6, 2006
Embassy Review : After getting through the terrible experience of IMBRA recalls, our second interview was scheduled on Aug 26 (the first was cancelled) My fiance said it was rather quick and painless, all in all it only took 5 minutes.(excluding the waiting online=1.5hours) The interviewer only asked a few questions relevant to our relationship and asked if his parents would be present at our wedding and if we had a day picked out....and he added because you only have 90 days. Oh and the interviewer also said that he had met his wife online too...hehe Thats it, in a week the courier delivered his passport with the visa in it
My fiance brought all paperwork, evidence included to the consulate but again the interviewer did not ask to see anything, the woman at the front only asked for the affidavit and needed papers for the interview and that was all.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
