She returned and they took the translation and her passport and was given a white paper saying to return to pick up her passport next Monday 2/23. I will follow up on the approval as soon as she has her visa in hand next Monday the 23rd of February...

Consulate Review: United Arab Emirates
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : February 23, 2015
Embassy Review : According to my fiancee everything went well and stress free. She arrived at the embassy 15 minutes before the time of her interview and about an hour or so waiting, she was called to a window to submit her documentation and to get fingerprinted, and also to pay the fee for the ds-160. The person that collected everything was a lady. I'm not sure of what order everything was asked and such because I'm relating everything as she told me. After that was all done she was told to sit back down and wait to be called for her interview. I don't know exactly how long she had to wait to be called but I do know it was less then an hour she had to wait.
A middle aged lady consulate interviewed her at a booth with a window. She was not asked to go into a back room to be interviewed. Questions were the typical "How and when did you meet?" "Is and when was your fiance divorced?" "Does he have children?" "How many?" "What was his previous job and job title?" "What is your job?" "How many years have you been in Abu Dhabi?". She wasn't asked to show any pictures or any other evidence of our relationship but brought plenty of evidence in case she was. Her interview was approximately 10 minutes and when it was finished the consulate told her that everything was fine except that they needed the translation for her police report for when she arrives in the United States so that they can read/understand what her police report says. She was then handed a blue slip which I believe was the 221g. It said visa refused because she was missing documentation but to return and submit what was missing along with her passport. The consulate told her to return around 2PM with what was requested on the paperwork and she did. Once she returned, she was let right into the embassy to submit what was requested and then was handed a white sheet saying to return the following Monday to pick up her passport.
APPROVED!!!

My fiancee said all in all, everyone at the embassy was nice, even the consulate that interviewed her....
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
