Event Description

Embassy Review : Interview date is 2/2 and my experience was very good. I arrived at 5:30AM with my brother and the line for K1, tourist, and different time slots were pretty chaotic outside. But once we got inside the embassy, the queuing was pretty much organized. The line girls (that's what I called them) were pretty much on their feet instructing people where to go. The local employees that handled my Pre-screening (Step 2) was very nice and polite. She even gave me some tips and I was pretty much out of there in 5 mins. They asked for my Birth Cert, CENOMAR, NBI, payment form and passports (give old passports with old US Visa).

Then Step 3: Oath Taking was the bottleneck because only 2 CO were doing this part but it will only take about 5 mins to do the oath. Then the next step is Interview with CO which pretty much tells you if you pass or failed. The CO that I got was super friendly and even made a joke when I was finished. He just asked about relationship, looked at our pictures (be sure you have these ready), my job, my fiancee's job, and how does my family liked my fiancee. I was pretty lucky with the CO I got because he made if easier for me to relax and just be myself. I'm so happy ...and wish everyone else goodluck on their interview.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
