Event Description

Embassy Review : Ok so I wanted to submit a review of my fiance's experience. I decided to go to Nigeria for the interview. We arrived at the Embassy around 630 for is interview at 0700. Once he got inside he begin his long 6 hour wait. During this time he witness a lot of others being interviewed and what he said was not at all a surprise. A little info on us, we met in India while living there we got engaged. When it was time for him to go home, we already had our petition submitted and was just waiting. While we waited for our NOA2 I visited him twice. Back too the interview. We decided early on in the process that we would not do in preparing for the interview as others have done. We where both convinced that there was nothing they could ask him that he didnt know. So there was no need to prepare for something we do everything already(which is maintain a relationship) He said that his experience was great that it was very obvious the interviewers are trained lie detectors and that anyone that came in there with the intentions to lie or try and deceive was discovered and the interviewers had no problem telling them they where lying and they where denied. He also said that from what he could see our notebook I made was the most organized that day. From what he gathered those that are confident, know what they are talking about and can answer the questions where always approved, those who presented themselves not so well, could not answer questions where denied and sent back. In the notebook i had a complete copy of our petition, phone bills, skype and whatsapp conversations, also because I work and own a business I submitted 2 affidavits of support one for my business and the other for my job(they didnt even look at them) I also included a photo book I had made with pictures of us in India as well as the two trips I had made to Nigeria and the photos had labels. Some photos included pictures of us, and pictures with me and his family members, to include, mom, dad, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. She was very impressed with the photo book and took the time too go through each page. Some of the questions she ask where,
1. who petitioned for you?
2. How did you two meet?
3. has she been to Nigeria?
4. How many times has she been to Nigeria?
5. How long did she stay each time?
6. What are your plans in the US?
Then she said welcome too the US your approved!!!!!!

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
