Consulate Review: Manila, Philippines
Review Topic: K1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 19, 2015
Embassy Review : WE had our interview on Nov 18, 2014 we went there around 6am. They let us in around 6.45. Line wasn't that long for k1 visa holders. So anyway when we got in we did the usual waited for our number to pop up at the screen then after getting the biometrics and talking to a Filipino consul, we waited for our number to pop up again for the American consul aka the Last interviewer. LOL Then finally when we got to talk to the consul he asked for my then fiancé to do an oath. After that he just asked me(USC) 3-4 questions and looked at our pictures that were included in our I-129F packet. He said "You two looked like you're having a good time" and we just smiled. After that he said we're good to go and just wait for my fiancé's visa(we got it 4 days after the interview). He dint even asked my fiancé anything. LOL Everything went well and we went out at the embassy around 11.30am.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
