Event Description

Embassy Review : Per Hubby's Texts...

Interview time was 9:00 am. He got there around 7 and was the 2nd person in line. Around 7:30 they started two other lines... one for 8 am appointments and one for immigrant visas, so he hopped into that line. At about 8:04 he was called up for the prescreening part and was greeted by a very happy asian lady who joked quite a bit with him and told him she would expedite his passport if approved. He was only asked to show his passport, courier info and interview letter.

After waiting for about 20-30 minutes his number popped up again and he made his way over to the interview window where he was greeted by a young american woman around 8:35. He said she was very friendly and a bit sassy. She asked him when we met, who the joint sponsor was, and when he planned on moving here and then said "You've been approved!"

He was actually quite shocked at the point, all he managed to say was "that's it?" and she smiled and said yup! and he was on his way before 9 am!

Overall, he had a great experience and he finally gets to come home!!!!! :D
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
