Consulate Review: Ukraine

Event Description

Embassy Review : My Fiancee, Vera, had her enterview today and sent the following report:

Dwight everything went so fast, easy and simple that I could not come to my senses!
Generally, we arrived very quickly! At 7:00 we were in Kiev at the metro station, we had to drive all three stops, so we got to the embassy where it is a quarter to eight.
When we were there we saw that people have already begun to run inside,
5 people, there are 2 security guards who check profile DS-160 and a passport to the questionnaire they checked barcode and then you are admitted to the control, check inside the metal detector, then you go through the yard and entrance to the hall where the employee shows what room you go. Then I waited, very quickly I was invited to the window where I was required to submit all the documents in order. Before I gave the documents to the woman that received them we had very nice conversation!
When she took all the documents she took fingerprints ....
and told me that I should not worry, that I have all that great and I get a visa, but still talk with me consul representative.
She asked me to sit down, and she gave my documents to the consul,
it's next two windows ....
In front of me was a young couple, and then he invited me! We shook hands and he asked me to read, raising his right hand, that all the documents and all the information is very true! Then he asked where we met))) and how many times you visited and when you proposed to me)))) then asked if we decide what we will have a wedding ....)))) I replied as we all agreed. For some reason he smiled all the time)))))
Then he said! good Vera! your visa is approved! further ovation)))))
God, I was elated! for forty minutes it was all over!
And he said again, a week later get a passport with a visa, you will receive a message.
By 8:46, it was all done!
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
