Ciao a tutti,
All'inizio ti chiamano all'accettazione con il tuo passaporto,e poi ti fanno accomodare.

Io ho portato con me cellulare e chiavi dell'albergo.
E' stata carinissima.
Mi ha chiesto:
- Come vi siete conosciuti?
- Quanti anni avete?

Entry Date : 2015-12-09
Embassy Review : Arrived at 1:35pm at JFK. No line at all. It took few minutes to be insert in the system. Then I followed her In a big room where they make control on visa and passport I guess. I had my wedding dress with me so They didn't ask me questions about me and my fianceé...they just remind me to get married within 90 days. I had a connection flight to get...at 3pm I was already at the gate. All great!

Event Description

Embassy Review : On May 25, 2016 I had my AoS Interview to be granted for a 2 years Green Card.
We get in at 2:25pm, the exact time of my interview, and we got called right away.
Everybody were super friendly (from the guards at the entrance to the front desk).
The IO was really nice, and you could tell he just wanted to be over with the interview because, as he told us, he already interviewed more than 20 couple that day.
He really didn't ask us much questions, he asked me to confirm information that I put in the I-485 AoS, and he asked my husband when he came to Italy, and how we met.
That's pretty much all.
I noticed he was observing our posture, especially when I reached my husband hand and I put my head on his shoulder (we were sitting right next to each other), I noticed he gave an importance to that gesture.
So, body language is really important also in this kind of interview!
He made us do an oath, and he asked me if I had support documents to add.
I gave him: photos, text, join tax refund and joint health insurance.
He told us that this Friday (today) he would review all the interview made that day, and he will most likely grant the Green Card.
He told us to remember to file for Removal of Conditions before 90 days of expiration of the Green Card, and we were good to go!!
We were out after about a half hour.
Really quick! Everybody easygoing! Good luck to everyone!

Hello and congratulations on successfully arriving to the end of this process. I am still waiting and would be grateful if you share What questions were asked from you and your spouse during i-751 interview? Thanks and good luck

Hello there, Our interview was very smooth. They just asked us to confirm the personal information we submitted with the I-751 "Name/LastName, SSN, Current Address, Marriage Date". Then she expressed her happiness about how I organized the file for her. It was very easy to review. She asked a few questions regarding the trip to Italy we did last year, not really as an interview, more out of curiosity....and that's it. We really didn't have an "interview" more like introducing each other. I felt like she made her decision even before meeting us in person. She approved us on the spot. :)

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
