Consulate Review: Frankfurt, Germany
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : November 5, 2014
Embassy Review : My husband underestimated Wiesbaden/Frankfurt traffic. Arrived 45mins late. They still took him in. The interview was 3 hours long and involved several people at various stations. Questions were simple as what does your husband do for work. How did you meet. Do you want to move to the USA.

Oddly enough NVC approved our visa application on a condition that he provide the consulate with a corrected AOS form. (I had twice used the wrong income line from my tax forms). They never asked for this document. They also never asked to see any other evidence. All documents that had been submitted to NVC were returned. The visa was approved. Everyone was helpful and nice to him at the consulate. Remember to take a large postage-prepaid envelope as they will need a large envelope to send the package and passport back.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
